Dog Information and Overview: All, I think the pictures speak for themselves but I think we found a wonderful home for Buddy. They drove their huge RV out to IL and spent the night in our drive way. Today we went thru some of the obedience training that Buddy has had to familiarize them. Susan S. even drove up from her house with two of her dogs to meet them. We had a beautiful day outdoors (can't believe it is November). They hit the road at about 4pm - Buddy jump right up into their RV tail waggin. Fostering is rewarding but bittersweet... Special Concerns/Considerations: Obedience classes are required. He has a very strong prey drive and should not have access to cats or to livestock (i.e. chickens, horses, goats, sheep etc). Fenced yard is preferred. Housebreaking in ongoing. Buddy gets along with other dogs in a controlled situation but like any new family dog, some structure and controls will be needed until he gets comfortable with his new house mates. Crating is recommended. He should not go to a family with children under 10 as he is very large and rambunctious. He will also need to continue his diet started by his foster home.
